Community Manager and/or Property Manager

This exempt position is responsible for all operations of an apartment community and reports directly to the regional property supervisor. A community/property manager is expected to manage the property to the owner’s operating budget and objectives, primary among which are to increase the net operating income, maintain the physical asset, and provide a quality living environment for residents. Establishment of positive, productive working relationships with all community staff is essential to success in this position.

Strong applicants will hold a high school diploma or GED, some college is preferred; two to three years directly related experience and/or training; direct supervision of staff of two or more; and at least one year of sales and marketing management experience. ARM/CAM designation and/or real estate license preferred.

 

Leasing Consultant

This non-exempt position is responsible for showing and leasing rental units to prospective tenants. Specific duties include but are not limited to placing online and print advertisements as directed by supervisor; interviewing prospective tenants and recording required information; maintaining occupancy goals and closing ratios; verifying application documentation and preparing lease agreements; collecting and recording receipt of rental funds. Position reports to leasing manager, property manager or assistant manager.

Strong applicants will hold a high school diploma or GED, some college is preferred; one to two years directly related experience and/or training; and at least one year of direct sales and marketing experience.

 

Maintenance Technician

This non-exempt position is responsible for keeping apartment community in clean and orderly condition and tending to mechanical systems for tenants. Specific duties include but are not limited to performing all general unit and community maintenance; troubleshooting mechanical systems; coordinating outside vendors; timely and accurate preparation of maintenance reports. Position requires availability for 24 hour/weekend coverage and tenant events as needed. Reports to maintenance supervisor or property manager or assistant manager.

Strong applicants will hold a high school diploma or GED; minimum two years experience in apartment maintenance or minimum three years in related field.
